Corgi Toys James Bond Goldfinger Aston Martin DB5 1960s

This is a Corgi Toys Aston Martin DB5 car from the James Bond film ‘Goldfinger’ from the mid-1960s. This car is from my collection of childhood toys and I have owned it since 1967 or so. It will be listed for sale on eBay beginning Nov. 8 2009 at 9:19 PM until Nov. 15 2009 at 9:19 PM. Search for listings under my eBay userid (my_60s_stuff) to see this item.

Unlike many of these cars that are listed for sale, this one still has the bad guy in the passenger’s seat who will be ejected when you press the rear button on the left hand side of the car. The roof still pops open and ejects the passenger, and closes and locks in place.

Pressing the front button on the left hand side of the car releases the machine guns and ramming bumper at the front of the car. They still retract as they should when pressed into the front of the car.

Pressing the exhaust pipe releases the bullet shield at the rear of the car. It, too, retracts and locks in place when pushed down.

The James Bond figure and the passenger still have all their paint and are intact.
The gold paint on the car is still shiny and clean, with a few small scratches (on the passengers side door and roof, passenger fender, driver’s side door and top of the trunk and bullet shield). Otherwise, this car is in excellent condition.
